Important Information: Trail du Drac Route Modification
Dear runners,
We hope you are doing well and ready for the Trail des Passerelles du Monteynard.
Due to uncertain weather conditions, predicting a “low risk of storm, with mild to moderate intensity”, we have decided to modify the Trail du Drac route. This decision was made to ensure the safety of all participants and volunteers on the course.
The route modification reduces the distance on the inter-bridge loop and allows participants to return quickly to the finish in case the storm worsens. Indeed, in the event of lightning, crossing the bridges is strictly prohibited.
The new planned route still includes the double bridge crossing. Please note that depending on the weather evolution, the course may still change at any time.
Below are the details of the new route:
- New Trail du Drac distance: 11.5 km / 600 m elevation gain
- Refreshment station at Villard Julien: km 7
- New cutoff time at the first bridge crossing: 18:10
- Cutoff time at Villard Julien refreshment station: 19:05
- Finish line cutoff time: 20:00
