Trail du Drac: your Gateway to the TPM in 2027
Born in 2023, the Trail du Drac returns in 2027! It serves as the gateway to the TPM (Trail des Passerelles du Monteynard). So, you discover and try mid-mountain trail running on a short course. But don’t underestimate it: with about 700 m of elevation gain, it delivers real thrills.
First, you start from the Plage de Savel. Then you run along the lake for a few kilometres, before crossing the Drac Footbridge for the first time. Next, the course climbs through the pine forests between the two footbridges up to the village of Villard-Julien, where an aid station awaits you.
After that, you head back down towards the finish. Along the way, the trails offer superb views of the lake and the Sénépi. Plus, you run on the training grounds of Nicolas Martin, world vice-champion and TPM ambassador.
Finally, you cross the Drac Footbridge a second time, for another Himalayan-style crossing, and reach the finish line by the water at the Plage de Savel.
