The Trail du Drac, new for the 2023 edition, has been renewed for 2024! It’s the ideal race to discover and initiate yourself to the pleasures of trail running in mid-mountain! And it’s the most accessible race of the #TPM.
Small distance, small elevation gain but strong sensations! The departure will be given on the beach of Mayres Savel, and after running along the lake for a few kilometers, you will cross the Passerelle du Drac a first time.
Then, the course will climb in the pine forest of the interpasserelle to take you to the village of Villard-Julien where an intermediate refreshment will await you.
Then you go back down to the finish. The trails will offer you superb views of the lake and the Sénépi. You will be on the training ground of Nicolas Martin, vice world champion and sponsor of the TPM!
You will then find the Passerelle du Drac for a second Himalayan crossing before reaching the finish line at the water’s edge on the Mayres Savel beach.
The day after the Trail du Drac, the Trail des Passerelles du Monteynard offers two other events, the Mine Express and the Petit Train!
A Trail du Drac + Petit Train Challenge is even organized! A discount and a special award are planned.

The natural spaces we are working on and the people who are taking care of those lands and territories, which you will be crossing for the race, are factors we do not control 100%. Therefore, we sometimes have to make changes to our different routes, which can slightly modify the distance and/or the altitude difference. This distance and altitude difference is therefore given as an indication.
