Parking and Access for Each Race Day
Update to follow for the 2027 edition
FOR SATURDAY, JULY 4 – MAYRES-SAVEL SITE
You can park along the road leading to the nautical base, and volunteers will guide you on site. Then, you can reach the race venue on foot. In addition, the competitor parking is located about 1 km from the Mayres-Savel race site (start, finish, bib pickup, etc.).
FOR SUNDAY, JULY 5 – LA MURE SITE
To make your arrival easier at the La Mure race site, the organization provides three official parking areas, located very close to the finish area:
- In front of Hôtel Le Murtel – Boulevard Fréjus Michon
- Rue du Docteur Tagnard (just before the Post Office)
- Citadelle Parking
All these parking areas are located less than 700 m on foot from the race site. Please prioritize these parking areas and follow the volunteers’ instructions to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow.
Parking in Monteynard is strongly discouraged!
It is strongly discouraged to drive to the race start in Monteynard, as no dedicated parking is available, apart from the few usual spaces in the village.
FOR TUESDAY, JULY 7 – LA MOTTE D’AVEILLANS SITE (LA MINE IMAGE)
You can reach the race site at La Mine Image (La Motte‑d’Aveillans) by car. A parking area is available near the site. The parking areas will be signposted, and volunteers will guide you.
Access and directions:
Participants arriving from Grenoble or La Mure will be directed by a volunteer at the entrance of Rue de la Cité, where the parking system begins. Several successive parking areas are located along the route and will be filled in order of vehicle arrival to ensure smooth, one‑way traffic flow.
Please follow the volunteers’ instructions to ensure optimal organization.
Access to the race site:
Once parked, you can reach the La Mine Image race site on foot by following the marked path. The parking areas are located about 500 m from the site.
Parking in Prunières is strongly discouraged!
It is strongly discouraged to drive to the race start in Prunières, as no dedicated parking is available, apart from the few usual spaces in the village.
FOR FRIDAY 10, SATURDAY 11 & SUNDAY 12 JULY – TREFFORT SITE
The runner parking areas will be open from Friday 10/07 at 2:00 pm to Sunday 12/07 at 5:00 pm.
Free and mandatory trailer parking
For this edition, the trailer parking is located at the exit of the village of Treffort. It will be clearly signposted from the main access roads.
⚠️ Attention: the parking location has changed compared to previous editions.
Since the parking area is located about 2 km from the race site, the organization provides free shuttle buses throughout the event (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
Shuttle service:
- Regular round trips between the trailer parking and the race site
- Shuttle drop-off: Herbelon parking
- Access to the Start / Finish / Bib Pickup on foot from Herbelon → about 500 m walking distance
We recommend anticipating your arrival, especially during peak times, to allow for parking and shuttle travel time.
Access to the parking:
⚠️ Access to the trailer parking is mandatory and requires presenting your TRAILER PARKING ACCESS.
🚫 Vans and motorhomes are not allowed in the trail runners’ parking lot. We recommend that you use the parking lots at Lac du Monteynard, such as Parking des Vignes or Parking de la Plage. Please note that Parking de la Salette will not be accessible during the event.
